PROJECT SUMMARY:

The project entails masterplanning of an existing church campus.The existing church was redesigned to expand the narthex and increase seating capicity. A new Family Life Center was developed to accomadate youth activities including a daycare center, multi-purpose room/gymnasium which will double as a CAT-5 hurricane shelter, music room, youth cafe, lounge, and game room with a full commercial kitchen. A memorial garden is intergrated in the design with a healing path. The design of the Family Life Center was derived from an egg formation representing a rebirth with Christ.Although the Family Life Center's foot print dominates the site it was designed with reflective glass, reflecting the church as not to take away from it's significants.
